How You Can Volunteer
We’d love your help because there’s always work to do at our gardens! Anyone can volunteer their time at our garden including existing garden members.
Community Work Days are on the Longmont Community Garden Event Calendar on our main website page.
Community Work days are open to all garden members with Boulder County Work Crews attending when possible. Remember that gardeners need to fulfill 4 hours of work per garden plot before November 15th (see Rules).
Let’s make this fun and be a time to get to know other gardeners!

Below are examples of volunteer activities:
- Assist an injured, ill, or senior gardener to maintain their plot and pathways!
- Maintain garden tools, wheelbarrows or paint our toolshed!
- Attend the next community garden work day!
- Assist overseeing Boulder County Work Crew.
- Volunteer at Longmont Community Gardens events!
- Donate food to our Food Donation program and help distribute donated produce.
- Volunteer in the Longmont Community Gardens’ Board!
